is a great music lover and at the same time an ambitious amateur pianist and organist. He grew up in a household that was devoted to various arts in many ways. His mother was a solo dancer at the Cologne Opera House, and his father, who studied singing privately, was friends with many painters and sculptors, such as Hubert Berke, Fritz Tschaschnig, and Hans Hartung.

As a music lover, he voluntarily chairs the board of the Cologne Philharmonic and the Cologne Chamber Orchestra. He is also on the board of the "Palazzo Ricci European Academy of Arts e.V."

Furthermore, he organizes and hosts various concerts every year, mostly as benefit events for cultural institutions and organizations.

He himself performs as a pianist and organist repeatedly at solo, church, and chamber concerts. ​
